Pemba can be visited year-round, but the experience changes with the seasons:
June – October (Dry Season): The best time for diving, snorkeling, and general outdoor activities. The weather is sunny, the seas are calm, and visibility underwater is excellent.
November – May (Green Season): Lush landscapes, fewer visitors, and a quieter atmosphere. Excellent for birdwatching and spice tours, but heavy rains in April–May may limit activities.
